About
The landscapes and figures I choose to paint reflect situations and moods I experience. These are internal landscapes, as a mirror.
My painting is born of color, of the intense need to place it on the canvas with movement.
Painting serves me as a place and an action that connects me to the inner truth, and its manifestations are embedded in the color medium.
The painting contains a struggle of construction, destruction and reconstruction.
Out of the colorfulness and composition, the difficulty and having to cope with each and every line and color, there is a need to give in sometimes in order to achieve balance- a form is born, an expressive concept of a figure, a landscape, a place.
I use oil and especially acrylic paints, mixed media of panda, pencil, charcoal, markers, adhesives, etc.
I grew up in Haifa, I am a lab technician by profession and worked for 30 years at the Zohar Dalia factory in Kibbutz Dalia Israel.
I currently live in Zichron Yaakov Israel after several years in the United States.
